White Oak I.S.D. is celebrating the fact that our Roughneck basketball team will be going to the state tournament this weekend. White Oak will play Idalou at 10:00 Friday,in Austin, at the Frank Erwin Center. Since so many people will be going to support our team, the high school will dismiss on Thursday at 1:40 and will be out all day on Friday. Middle School, Int. School, and Primary will have school as usual.
There will be a send-off for the team at 8:00 on Thursday,down Stadium Dr. You are welcome to join us. Please make sure that your students are at school by 7:45 so that they will have time to drop off their backpacks and be ready to go outside. Stadium drive will be closed to the public from about 7:55 – 8:20. GO ROUGHNECKS! WE BELIEVE!!

Congratulations to our second graders on a fantastic performance of “Pirates” the musical. Mrs. Kimbley, our helpers, teachers, and performers all did a great job getting our performance ready for a packed house last night.

Thank you all for your support of our chocolate fundraiser. We are totalling all of our individual and class sums and will be ready to announce winners just as soon as possible.
